    Description

    TREATISE ON “IRREGULAR CHECKS” by the American Institute of Bank Clerks New York 1904 (date on front cover and title page) 40 pages bound in reddish brown heavy paper wrappers. 9 1/4” X 6 3/4”. Gives 18 picture examples of checks with problems of irregularity such as whether the endorser has the right to cash or deposit the check or confusion about the spelling or the amount or whether the check can be read or is legible or whether a check should be cashed if the endorser doesn’t use their full name etc. In fair condition with the last pages having a 2” closed tear and with a small chip in the corner of the front cover and light wear to the spine with a 2 1/2” separation but still tightly bound.
