A
very sweet antique fine cotton lawn, possibly linen, long baby christening or baptism gown.  Lovely hand embroidered yoke, front and back, whitework with florals and hand embroidered petite scallopped neck finish, fine white lace trim as well.  Bottom of sleeves have lace trim, bottom of gown has baby tuck work.   2 button back at neck, typical long opening below buttons for easy dressing.  Remember typically many layers were worn by babes in their christening gowns.  This is a very full gown.  In addition to gathering at yoke it has a tucked gusset under the arm which adds much fullness.  Dress is 54" around the bottom edge of gown.  Plenty of movement possible for baby in this one.
In addition to the measurements in item specifics, the neck is approx. 9" around when buttoned, bottom of sleeves approx. 5-1/2" around.
Recently hand washed and lightly pressed.  Lovely condition with very minor wear at yoke "tape" in back.  Partial seam at arm need to be restitched, can be done by hand easily.  2 buttons present and button holes great.  Overall beautiful well cared for condition with a few very minor age related things.  If I missed anything it is very minimal.  Please see full item description and all pics, many given.

Shipping
INSURANCE & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION (or Signature if over 0.00) is INCLUDED in the shipping & handling fee. Some items ship for a flat rate 1st class fee.  Otherwise see shipping calculator above for shipping cost to your zipcode, Priority or Parcel are options, which you choose at checkout.  I charge a small handling fee to cover or in most cases just help to defray the cost of packing supplies so that your item will arrive safely.   USPS Parcel shipping cost may be lower than Priority but PARCEL IS SLOWER THAN PRIORITY, it can take up to 2 weeks (10 business days) for delivery in some cases.  Shipping & handling costs is buyers responsibility.
