of Manitoba, Saskatchewan + Alberta
This is an original 1922 color map of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta prepared in the Natural Resources Intelligence Branch for the Department of the Interior on Ottawa, Canada.

The 24 x 35-¼ inch (61 x 89 cm) one-sided map shows the number of quarter sections available for homestead entry, and even the number of quarter sections privately owned and unoccupied. The scale is 35 miles to 1 inch.
West of Alberta, the map goes a little further west than Revelstoke and Kelowna. Some of the cities on this map are Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Regina, Battleford, Grande Prairie, Prince Albert, Peace River, Lethbridge, and Swift Current. None were very big and there was plenty of land left to homestead in 1922 very near to cities like Winnipeg and Calgary, for example.
Our photos show the original 102 year old Canadian color map offered for sale, it is NOT a modern copy. It is in very nice condition and has no writing on it, no tears along the folds, and no odor. It will be mailed folded along the original folds to 9 x 12 inches.
