    Description

    Set of 3 original sepia photographs from WWI era of U.S.S. Montana torpedo crews in training plus ships in dry dock in Portsmouth NH.  Identified as on board the U.S.S. Montana.  Photographs measure 5" x 7" and have some wear to corners and edges - please see photos.
    The first and only commissioned
    USS Montana
    was an armored cruiser (AC 13) commissioned into the U.S. Navy fleet in 1908. She served with distinction through and beyond the First World War and was decommissioned in 1921.
