Vintage (sort of) maps of Calgary, with a population of 1.5 million the largest city in the Canadian province of Alberta (the Wild West of our northern neighbor), as well as Edmonton, the provincial capital and a close second in population (1.4 million).
Includes a street map of Calgary, the home of the famous Calgary Stampede and a jumping off point for Alberta’s spectacular Rocky Mountain national parks (Banff & Jasper) (from Clear-View Maps, 1987, in the run-up to Calgary’s 1988 Winter Olympics); and a street map of Edmonton, the center of Canada’s extensive oil & gas industry (from Clear-View Maps, 1987).
