    Description

This is a great group of photos of 2 brothers, Darton Tell Ellingwood & Delmar C Ellingwood born in Green Maine.
    Delmar was born 7/30/1900 & died 04/10/1952.
There are photos of him before, during and after WWI, including a great cabinet photo card (largest photo) of him and another boy named Arthur Young in their Boy Scout uniforms taken in Portland Maine around 1914.
The photo of the home is where he lived in Windham Maine until the time of his death. It was also the town post office, where he was Postmaster the last 15 years of his life.
Also included are his public school card, death notice, funeral home bill & handwritten family history. He was interred at Arlington National Cemetery, VA.
I do not have his brother Darton's date of birth, but according to the family history, he died 10/25/1921. There are several photos of Darton in uniform taken during the war. He is pictured seated wearing Sergeant stripes.
All but 2 photos are marked on the reverse.
